We meet on Sunday mornings at 11am for our regular service of worship. A typical service involves songs, prayer, a message from the Bible and communion. Our service usually lasts until 12.30pm.
Visitors are always welcome at Cavan Baptist! During the service you won’t be asked to do anything. You can simply come and observe what happens. We don’t have a ‘dress code’ or rules that you must sign up to beforehand; so why not come along this Sunday?
We also have a programme for national school aged children that runs for part of the service and a creche is available for smaller children.
Each Sunday morning we serve tea and coffee after the service and everyone is welcome to stay and ask questions or just to catch up with friends. The last Sunday of every month is our bring and share lunch, so look out for that!
Our home groups meet fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at different locations around Co. Cavan. This is an opportunity for people to connect with other Christians through the week, or for people to explore the Bible in a location near them. Whether you know a lot or very little about the Bible, you are welcome to come to a group meeting near you.
Home group locations:
Cavan Town – Wednesday @ 8pm in the Watson’s home
Arva Area – Wednesday @ 8pm in the Corr’s home
Cootehill Area – Wednesday @ 8.30pm in the Akinlabi’s home
Belturbet Area – Wednesday @ 8pm in Myles Murphy’s home
