Sunday Service

We meet on Sundays at 10am & 12.30pm in Crubany and 11am in the Railway Goods Store Belturbet for our services of worship.  TIME CHANGE FOR SUNDAY 18TH JULY ONLY — we are holding an outdoor service at 11am AT CRUBANY…… Please get in touch with Louise (deeringlouise1@gmail.com) if you would like to book or get more details. We also hope to live stream at 11am this Sunday.  If you would like to come to one of the services in Crubany please send an email to Louise (deeringlouise1@gmail.com) to book so that we can ensure we can safely accomodate everyone.  Newcomers always welcome!  A typical service involves Bible reading, prayers, singing, a message from the Bible and communion.  Our service usually lasts around 75 minutes

Visitors are always welcome at Cavan Baptist! During the service you won’t be asked to do anything. You can simply come and observe what happens. We don’t have a ‘dress code’ or rules that you must sign up to beforehand; so why not come along this Sunday?

We also have a programme for national school aged children that runs for part of the service and a creche is available for smaller children.  This has been suspended at the moment due to Covid restrictions.  A room will be available for parents to take their pre-school children.

Home Groups

Our home groups meet fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at different locations around Co. Cavan. This is an opportunity for people to connect with other Christians through the week, or for people to explore the Bible in a location near them. Whether you know a lot or very little about the Bible, you are welcome to come to a group meeting near you.

Home group locations:

Cavan Town – Wednesday @ 8pm in the Watson’s home

Arva Area – Wednesday @ 8pm in the Corr’s home

Cootehill Area – Wednesday @ 8.30pm in the Akinlabi’s home

Belturbet Area – Wednesday @ 8pm in Myles Murphy’s home

Re:mix

Re:mix meets fortnightly from 7-9pm on Saturday evenings and is open to all young people from 6th class up. Re:mix is all about getting to know God and others better through the Bible, games, food and fun.

If that sounds like your cup of tea, why not come along on a Saturday night or get in touch to find out more. If it doesn’t sound like your cup of tea… don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!

TNT Kids Club

Thursday Night Thing is a club for National School age boys and girls which meets fortnightly from 6.45 to 8pm on Thursdays!

All children are welcome to come and enjoy a fun filled programme.  The evening includes games, songs, a story from the Bible and a quiz.  There is no charge.  Parents are welcome to visit the club at any time.  Contact us if you would like more details or just come along on a Thursday evening.
